  1. Divine Mercy Sunday:
This is always celebrated on the Sunday following Easter. It completes a novena (9 day prayer of the divine mercy chaplet) which started on Good Friday. So, it would be a great idea to say a chaplet!

I mentioned in my blog that this year's Divine Mercy Sunday is especially important in the Jubilee year of Mercy as well. I think you addressed the topic well.

  5. This Sunday is Divine Mercy Sunday. Divine Mercy Sunday takes place every year on the Sunday after Easter. It is used as a celebration of God's forgiveness. If a person goes to confession and receives holy communion on that day, they can receive complete forgiveness from sins and punishment. Therefore, they would be able to go straight to heaven instead of Hell or purgatory. Also, on that day, a person can receive plenary indulgence by reciting some simple prayers. This day really connects with this year as the Jubilee Year of Mercy.
